Created large social media communities

Created the corporate Facebook page in 2010 as part of a personal page as Meta did not allow stand alone business pages at that time. Since then, the Facebook page following has been built to over 380.000 followers. In recent times, social media promotion has stopped as the company restructures but the base is proving to be quite loyal.

Instagram

Audience for Instagram has been harder to build as user attitudes to sharing their data with Meta has hardened. To reflect this, separate pages created with unique content, relevant for each country.

This methodology has had some success with around 100,000 followers across the pages in key markets.

Engagement increased strongly under my control.

This has been a relatively new channel in my prior company as there was little love for it other than for recruitment. The account only commenced use as a marketing channel mid 2024.

Actively managed content, making relevant posts to the audience, discussing how the subject impacted our business as the screenshots opposite show.

Managing Facebook and Instagram accounts for multiple countries

Until leaving, I was creating Facebook plans for 7 Facebook pages each month. France, Europe, Germany, Spain, Portugal, UK and Poland and six Instagram pages, in the same countries except Poland.

Currently these are all in maintenance mode as no promotion is taking place during company restructuring. However, I have had extensive experience of promoting both pages and posts and using competitions mechanics to build audience and increase the reach of our message.

Social media content plans are more challenging due to the fact that the company is relinquishing its responsibilities to a new company, so there were few actions or events in the final year of my work there. I was adept at creating content., primarily using Photoshop and Premiere Pro for movies with the occasional need to supplement this with Adobe After Effects.

Some AI generated content waspublished but care was takenn not to alienate our audiences as authenicity was very important.

Totally managed all of these pages. I was also responsible for managing and responding to all of the direct messages received through these pages and responding to comments made on posts.

I also reported monthly, showing changes in followers, number of posts made, how many times the content has been viewed and how many messages have been answered. In a typical month there might be over 100 messages requiring a response.

YouTube

I have built an audience of over 180.000 subscribers to the YouTube channel. This was done with a mixture of PPC advertisement, collaboration with online games, regular posting, attractive shared content and channel competitions. YouTube still enjoys over 2 billion monthly active users so a managed plan for this will see it assist to delver messages to our target audience.

Currently this channel is not been actively managed and is in maintenance mode.AS such its subscriber base is gradually declining at the rate of about 100 per month. Nevertheless, 1.500 visitors a month watch over 20 hours of the movies on the channel.
