I write and distribute press information and share it to digital resources to increase the reach of the message. As well as publishing news on 22 websites across europe and 13 social media pages, news is usually shared within our internal intranet so that all staff are informed.
Press contacts responding to releases or approaching the company, come to me. I speak on behalf of the company giving clear and consistent messaging.
In addition to writing press releases, I also arrange translation into French and Spanish for distribution
Distribution of press releases generally, are handled by a specialist agency.
Press Conferences
I have attended many press conferences as a representative of the company. Sometimes I have attended with other staff where I am able to guide their responses so that the messaging remains clear and consistent.
I have remained out of sight of cameras sometimes, for example, when the president was interviewed. I was able to prompt the talking points and ensure answers to questions stayed on message.
Product Reveal
I have arranged press conferences for new products with invited audiences of dozens of specialist journalists
Countdown
To increase anticipation, I added a countdown timer to a press event. The countdown was accompanied by music, a drum roll at the end and smoke filled stage to build up the atmospher.
