The above illustration shows an organigram of the team I managed
Getting the Team to work effectively
I have recruited many staff and in most case my primary interest was were they excited about the role. Most things can be taught, but enthusiasm cannot
Taking Ownership
With dozens of projects across two separate trading companies, organisation and accountability were essential. I allocated a responsible person for every single project. This did not mean they had to do everything themselves, simply that they owned the project.
If they asked for support from a colleague or used an external agency, they retained personal responsibility to ensure all the individual elements of the project were completed on time.

Improving communication
Intranet
To ensure that the whole company felt part of one team , not just the marketing, I introduced an internet service to the company to share information internally.
POPULar
The Intranet was a tremendous success. the entire company took to it and messages about lunch orders and. meetings only meade the tool stronger for sharing company news and press information.
Conflict resolution
Naturally, within a team over time, tensions and disagreements arose.
With a policy of talking through all issues and with mutual respect and politeness observed, I was able to resolve all of the inter team tensions and acheive a stronger workflow.
Review
When asked to rate the effectiveness of me as a manager, 100% of staff gave the following response*

*possibly not true. 😂
