About me
Consummate professional, engaging, effective and driven.
Married with two adult children, I have spent the last 18 years working in Germany. A British citizen, I have the right to work in the UK. Just before Brexit, there was some uncertainty about the right to work in the turmoil immediately before leaving. So, to simplify this I became an Irish citizen.
In the roles I have undertaken I have been comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, keeping stakeholders informed and maintaining collaborative relationships with clients and partners.

Advertisement
Creative or corporate, I have done it all. I was responsible for unifying the company advertising through collaboration with colleagues in other businesses after i joined the company.
I have also use a wide variety of media to place key visuals
Website Management
Expert in web development, I have created a powerful network of linked sites covering europe which maintain uniformity and reduce duplication of work.
PPC advertisements have been extensively used and the most effective trigger words and audience are now clearly defined.
Social Media Management
I have built up a substantial audience in social media channels. A combination of regular content posting, interaction with audience, collaborations, competitions and promotions have been deployed.
I manage pages in seven different languages including responding to direct messages and comments in the language of the pages.
Sponsoring
Having sponsored Bundesliga football teams and European athletics, I am thoroughly versed in the requirements of managing a partnership and activating it to extract the maximum benefit.
I have also partnered with clients to sponsor sports and events in key markets and supported them to obtain the maximum value.
Exhibitions
I have been responsible for a large number of exhibitions. From a small pop up to professionally built booths, I have managed almost every type.
Exhibitions are more than just a booth and floor space. I set clear objectives before commencing planning so that plans are focused and results can be measured against objectives after the event.
Photoshooting
I have managed photo and film shoots across europe. In Hungary, Spain, Austria, UK, France, Finland , Sweden and Germany.
II believe the most effective projects start with a very well defined briefing so the photographer knows exactly what is expected. there is also no substitute for being there to answer the inevitable questions, however good the brief.
PR

I have also participated in client events, either as a speaker or taking a booth at their exhibitions.

I introduced GIS analysis into the company. the use of this tool has had many benefits and has opened up opportunities
It has also helped to manage resources better by ensuring that sales territories are evenly weighted,
Branding
I have managed branding projects with clients around europe. Adding physical branding like signage or redecorating a dealer premisses, gives a lasting benefit to the brand as consumers are still seeing it many years later.
I have also overseen many other branding projects such as vehicle decoration, branding of documentation and co-branding client brochures.

Reporting
I’m very big on reporting. Typically a report is prepared to launch a project and achieve buy in. For longer projects, interim reports are prepared. Every project gets an end report with lessons for future projects.
Punctual and Comprehensive
Time management underlines everything I do. When a project is added to my workflow, all the milestones and dependencies are recorded so that everything is done and on time
Rides a bike, never wears spandex
I have not succumbed to the mid life crisis practice of buying a hugely expensive carbon fibre bike and dressing up in branded spandex at the weekend. 🙂
I am also not a Golfist but, unlike the spandex, that may not be a red line.
